Polar Express Train – Ends January 3, 2016

Each child is presented with a gift before the train makes its last stop at the North Pole!

Winter Lights at NC Arboretum – Ends January 2, 2016 

If you’re looking for an exhilarating display of beautiful Christmas lights and breathtaking flora, the Winter Lights at NC Arboretum show is right up your alley. Featuring over 200,000 energy-efficient lights and an illuminated, majestic 50-foot tall tree, this is one spectacle you don’t want to miss.

National Gingerbread House Competition – Ends January 3, 2016

This sweet little treat is hosted at The Omni Grove Park Inn and features elaborate gingerbread houses created for competition. Come see what some of the most creative minds in the area were able to whip up with cookies, candies and icing.

Forest City Hometown Holiday Lights – Ends January 18, 2016 

Offering the ultimate festive small town experience, the Forest City Hometown Holiday Lights event features millions of lights covering Main St. shops and wrapped around oak trees. Dating back to 1930, this tradition offers one of the most unique lighting displays you’ll ever see.
